Day-to-day plumbing

Plumbing Repairs & Maintenance

Most calls fall into one of three buckets: something has failed and needs fixing, something needs replacing before it fails, or something new needs installing properly the first time. We do all three — and we quote the work before we start wherever we reasonably can.

Leaking taps, toilets, cisterns and mixers are the everyday jobs. Burst and leaking pipes — including chasing hidden leaks — are the ones that cannot wait. Rising bills, damp patches and dropping pressure usually point to a concealed leak; we locate it, show you what we found, and quote the repair.

We also handle copper, PEX and PVC pipework — new runs, extensions and replacements — plus water meters, isolation valves and pressure issues. For commercial and industrial properties we can work to a planned maintenance visit rather than only turning up when something has already failed.

Because we also cover gas fitting, backflow prevention and fire services, one call usually covers the whole property instead of coordinating three separate trades.

  • Burst and leaking pipes, including hidden leaks

Emergency Call-Out

If water is going somewhere it should not, or you can smell gas, the fastest thing you can do is ring 0412 808 356. The quote form is for planned work — it does not get anyone into a van.

We answer after hours, on weekends, and at 2am on the same number as the office. Burst or badly leaking pipes, water through a ceiling, sewage overflow, no water, gas leaks, a failed hot water unit, and urgent fire system faults are all treated as emergency work.

On the call we will ask where you are, what is happening, and whether the water or gas is isolated. We will tell you what to do in the meantime and give you a realistic time — not a vague promise. On arrival we stop the immediate problem first, then talk through the repair.

Emergency work is priced on what the job turns out to be. We talk about cost before doing anything beyond making the property safe.

What is included

  • Burst or badly leaking pipes
  • Water coming through a ceiling or wall
  • Blocked drains and sewage overflow
  • No water or total loss of pressure
  • Gas leaks and unsafe appliances
  • Hot water failure and urgent fire system faults
New work

New Installs & Renovations

Renovations, extensions and new builds need the pipework, gas and hot water designed for how the property will actually be used — not patched around afterwards.

Fixture and fit-off work, new pipe runs, water meters and isolation, hot water installations, and new gas points are day-to-day work. We plan the run so the appliance or fixture gets the supply it needs, connect it properly, and test before we leave.

Buying a new cooktop or moving a kitchen usually means the gas has to move too. Hot water replacements include disposal of the old unit. Fire system upgrades and new hydrant, hose reel, pump or tank work sit in the same conversation when the building needs them.

Larger or hidden jobs get assessed first so the scope and price are clear, rather than discovering it halfway through. Then we do the work with licensed trades and leave the property safe.

What is included

  • Fixture and fit-off work for renovations and new builds
  • New pipework runs, extensions and replacements
  • Hot water install and replacement, including disposal of the old unit
  • New gas points, appliance connections and changeovers
  • Fire system installation and upgrades
  • Clear scope and price before we start wherever we can

Compliance & Testing

A test is only half the job. You need the report, and it needs to be right — for a water authority, a property manager, an insurer or an auditor.

Testable backflow prevention devices generally need to be tested every twelve months. We test the device, tell you plainly if it has failed and what the repair involves, and provide the documentation. If you have received a notice and you are not sure what device you have, send the address and we will work it out.

Gasfitting in WA has to be carried out by a licensed gasfitter. Appliance connections, new pipework and leak repairs are tested before we leave so the installation stands up when an inspector, insurer or landlord asks.

On fire systems we carry out the routine work, tell you what we found, and give you the records. Building owners, property managers and facility managers carry the obligation to keep essential fire services maintained — a verbal assurance that someone looked at it is not enough.

What is included

  • Annual testing of testable backflow prevention devices
  • Test reports for your records and the water authority
  • Licensed gasfitting, tested before we leave
  • Fire system maintenance records you can show
  • Repairs and replacements when a device or system fails
  • Scheduled reminders so the annual backflow test does not get missed
