Coastal houses, retail and hospitality in Mandurah

Mandurah is the Peel region's commercial centre — coastal retail, tourism and hospitality, and a wide residential and strata belt. We attend it as surrounding-area coverage, not as a local Peel depot.

Mandurah is coverage, not a copied Perth page and not a Peel HQ

Our published area is Perth Metro and surrounding areas. Mandurah sits on the surrounding-area side of that line: far enough that travel is a planning matter, close enough that it is a real run rather than an annual expedition.

If you also have sites in Rockingham, say so. That is a different conversation to a single Mandurah house. There is no depot in either city.

What the buildings need

Hot water and leaks first, gas where the kitchens are

Coastal houses, canal-side units and holiday stock fail on hot water, leaks and blocked drains — the same jobs as the rest of the metro, with access that sometimes depends on a property manager or a tenant who is only there on weekends. Tell us who has the keys. We will tell you when we can be there.

The tourist strip and hospitality tenancies add licensed gas work and backflow devices that need their twelve-month test. Sprinklers and hydrants appear on the larger buildings. A cafe that only needs a plumber and a gasfitter does not get a fire-maintenance program it does not need.

The northern growth corridor — including Lakelands — is part of the same Peel run as the city centre. Building ages differ; the quote still follows the building. Travel from Perth Metro is planned. There is no Mandurah office.

Building stock

What Mandurah is built of

Coastal retail, tourism and hospitality, houses and multi-residential strata, and newer suburban commercial in the northern growth corridor. A regional-city mix rather than a single industrial typology.

  • Coastal retail, tourism and hospitality
  • Houses and multi-residential, including canal-side stock
  • Food tenancies that need licensed gas and backflow testing
  • Newer suburban commercial in the northern growth corridor

Halls Head to Lakelands

Halls Head, Erskine and Falcon continue the coastal residential pattern. Lakelands and Greenfields are the growth-corridor commercial and suburban stock.
